Walter Boroski, 73 of Dillonvale went to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 18,2022, surrounded by his loving wife Joy and family. He was born March 7, 1949, in Wheeling the son of the late Walter J. and Mary (Raymer) Boroski.
Walt was retired from Weirton Steel Corporation where he worked in management and service for 33 years and spent many years working at the Boroski Family Gas station in Dillonvale. He was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Steubenville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Cherlynn, brother; Joseph Boroski, sisters; Loretta Hutkai and Sylvia Gaudio.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Joy (Morgan) Boroski, sister; Mary Lynn (Charlie) Hutkay, sister-in-law; Karen Blod, special nieces and nephews; Trisha, Josh, Lisa Blod, Tony, Gina, J.J., Jaime, Chris and Frankie, great-nieces, and nephews; Madalynn and Maddox, Alivia and Elly, Isabella, Uncle Bill and Aunt Thelma Boroski and Aunt Theresa Besece complete the family.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, from 9am till time of Mass of Christian burial at 11am at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 425 N. 4th St., Steubenville, Ohio 43852, Fr. Timothy Huffman officiating. Burial to follow at St. Adalbert’s Catholic Cemetery in Dillonvale, Ohio.
