Thomas Williams, Jr., 88 years young, of Jerusalem, Ohio boarded his final train August 15, 2022 in the comfort of the home he loved. Tom was born October 15, 1933 in Wayne Township, Belmont County, Ohio, a son of the late Thomas and Eula Phillips Williams.
Tom was a proud US Air Force Veteran. He enjoyed trains, wood working, antiques and spending time with his family. After his retirement from the former ORMET Corporation near Hannibal, Tom and his wife, Jean, enjoyed traveling extensively in their RV, visiting campsites with groups of friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Jean Logan Williams; three children, John Williams (Jennifer Thompson) of Stanton Kentucky, Maryann (Thomas) Ollom of Laings, Ohio, and Mark Alan (Beth) Williams of Marysville, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Jessica, Mark Alan, Mallorie, Mac, Mason, Allison, and John Thomas, II; ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; also many friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, August 18 from 11am until the time of his funeral service at 2pm with Bob Benson officiating at the Wilson Funeral Home, Harper Chapel, 52728 Ohio Ave, Beallsville, Ohio 43716. Burial will follow in Jerusalem Cemetery with full military honors by American Legion Post 768.
