TED ALEX COURTNEY, JR.
Ted Alex Courtney, Jr. 46, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away at Wheeling Hospital on March 8, 2020. Born in Waycross, Georgia March 29, 1973, he was the son of the late Ted Alex Courtney, Sr. and Phyllis Adams Courtney.
Ted’s memory will always remain in the hearts of those who survive; his fiancée, Michelle McClarin of Bethesda; sister, Tammy Jimenez of Jesup Georgia; brothers, Sam Johnson of Waycross, Georgia and Robert Daniels of Neffs, Ohio; niece, Courtney Horne and nephew, Tristen Horne.
He explored many different pursuits in his life, but it was his love for music that inspired him to become a very talented musician, playing exceptional music, touching hearts and souls and bringing people together from all walks of life, knowing music is timeless and the strongest form of magic. Ted also enjoyed watching movies and was a master of many video games.
In fulfilling Ted’s wishes, there will be no visitation. He requested a gathering of family and friends to remember his life and the joy he shared. The gathering will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 6:00 pm, Glencoe American Legion Post 632, 63630 Main Street, Glencoe.
Ted’s care, together with assisting his family, has been entrusted to Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Bethesda.
