Obituary

ROBERT ALLEN SUMMERS, JR.

Robert Allen Summers, Jr., passed away April 7, 2020 at his home in Barnesville at the age of 35.  He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia on April 13, 1984 to Melissa Conard and the late Robert Summers, Sr.

Robert, now at peace, has joined those who preceded him in death; his son, Charles Bradley Summers; maternal grandparents, Jack and Lova Pierce; and paternal grandfather, John E. Holloway.

Timeless memories will remain forever in the hearts of those who survive Robert; wife, Graceanne Summers; daughter, Taylor Summers; parents, Melissa and Terry Conard; sister, Chelsea (Bill) Yeater; and brother, Benjamin (Jennifer) Summers.

He enjoyed playing games on the computer and being a “techie” guy, he was fascinated with the graphics and realization that the different games entailed.  He was an Electronic Technician in the oil industry, enjoyed fishing, and coaching softball.  Robert served in the United States Air Force, as a Radar Specialist from 2004 to 2010.  After fulfilling his six year duty, he spent 4 years in Afghanistan as a Radar Repair Contactor.

The love of his life was his daughter, Taylor.  From the first breath she breathed, when she first smiled at him, he knew the love of a father runs deep.  She will always be his princess and he will always be her knight in shining armor.

Honoring Robert’s wishes, cremation will take place and his care, together with assisting his family, has been entrusted with Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Barnesville.
