ROBERT HENRY “GOAT” BAUMBERGER
Robert Henry “Goat” Baumberger passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, February 27, 2021, with the love of his family surrounding him.
He was born July 27, 1956 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Robert and Jean (Mason) Baumberger. Also preceding him in death was granddaughter, Ella Bolyard.
Goat, as he was known to all, had a passion for Harley Davidsons and was a heavy equipment operator for Oxford Mining. Goat was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a man of many interests including fishing, and more than anything, his love for his grandchildren.
Goat will be lovingly remembered always by his wife of 43 years, Donna Baumberger; children, Rebecca (Chris) Bolyard and Jeremy Baumberger all of St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Taylor and Bradie Baumberger and Caden and Logan Bolyard; sisters, Diana (Dan) Tarleton of St. Clairsville and JoAnn Powers of Bethesda.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Tuesday, March 2, 2021 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, where the service for Goat will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at 1:00 pm. Interment will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain.
With the ongoing pandemic, we remind everyone that masks or facial covering must be worn upon entering the funeral home and that all social distancing guidelines must be followed. Food and beverages are not permitted in the funeral home at this time.
