RALPH DEAN LUCAS
Ralph Dean Lucas, 79, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2020. He was born to Harold and Helen (Warfield) Lucas in Bethesda, Ohio, September 12, 1940.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Tom Lucas of Bethesda.
Sharing heartwarming memories of Ralph, are those who survive; his loving wife, Linda (Decker) Lucas; daughter, Karen (Gary) Carpenter; son, Robert Lucas; grandchildren, Amber (Josh) Gibson, Amy (Brad) Anderson, Zachary (Makala) Lucas, Trenton (Krystal) Lucas, Kierstin, Nicolas, and Abbygail Lucas; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A loyal and tender-hearted husband, father, and grandfather, Ralph served on the Barnesville Fire Department, was a member of the Legion post 0888; and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Ralph worked for Saginaw Mine and also worked for and retired from Barnesville Water Department.
Visitation will take place Monday, July 27, 2020 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm and Tuesday, July 28, 2020 from 11:00 am until the time of service, beginning at 1:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville. Pastor Rodney West and Pastor Perry Baranich will be officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, with full Military Honors presented by Belmont County Veterans’ Association.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, in remembrance of Ralph, may be made to Barnesville Fire Department, 125 E. Church Street, Barnesville, Ohio 43713.
