NINA MAUDE CHRISTMAN

Nina Maude Christman, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 15, 2021.  She was born on May 5, 1933, to the late Charles W. and Pearl Dunfee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Jane Howiler and Daisy Dunfee; infant brother; and brother-in-law, Marvin Howiler.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years, James C. Christman; daughters, Jeanette (Art) Mengon, Susan (David) Cook, and Pamela (Steve) Morlan.  In addition, surviving are her six grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Wershing, Trevor Morlan, Ryan Cook (Katelyn Sheftick), Adam (Catie) Mengon, Jordan Morlan, Justin (Haley) Mengon.  Lastly, her great-grandchildren, Alex and Katie Wershing, Rayland Cook, Harrison Mengon; and brother, Bill (Rodona) Dunfee

Nina was a member of the Boston Church of Christ, a 4-H advisor, and a 10-year Band Booster parent. She was employed by Johnathon Logan before working side by side with her husband, running their business, Christman Heating and Plumbing and Jim’s Service Station. She was an avid gardener, crafter, and loved traveling to the many different craft shows together with her husband, sister, and brother-in-law. Nina and her husband owned their own craft business for many years.  She will be remembered by all, as a caring and wonderful person, who would lend a helping hand to anyone, and mostly, being dedicated to her family.

Family and friends are invited for visitation, Sunday, September 19, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, where the funeral service for Nina will take place on Monday, September 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM.  Derrick Stephen of Boston Church of Christ will officiate. Interment will follow at Boston Cemetery, Barnesville.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to Boston Church of Christ.
