NAOMIA VIRGINIA “JENNY” PULLEY
Naomia Virginia Pulley, our mom, granny, great-granny, and sister, passed away July 15, 2021. Born July 26, 1935 in Holloway, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Myrtle (Duffy) Tipton and was one of 11 children fulfilling the Tipton family. Also preceding Naomia in death was her friend and children’s father, William Pulley; siblings, Daisy Showalter, Geraldine Sudduth, Myrtle Toole, Peggy, and Margaret Tipton, John, James, Donald, and Michael Tipton.
Remembering the joy that Naomia gave every day are those who survive; daughters, Tammy Pulley (John Catanzaro), Linda Pulley; sons, Joe (Tamara) Pulley and Mike (Beth) Pulley; grandchildren, Billy (Veronica) Mason, Tim Pulley, Austin Pulley (Savanah Clipner), Justin Moore (Angel King), Destiney Pulley (Dennis Garrison); great-grandchildren, Zayden and Ryker Mason, aka “The Boys”, Isabella Garrison, Centric Moore; sister, Betty Moorman; sisters-in-law, Blanche and Rita Tipton; step-grandson, Phillip Duvall (Madison McLaughlin); and her special furry companion, Wally-Walrus.
She was a factory worker and spent most of her years at Express Packaging in Newcomerstown, Ohio. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching Game Show Network and Days of Our Lives. She enjoyed helping at flea markets and was known as the “bag lady.” Her most prized possession was attending the grandkids and great-grandkids extracurricular activities. She was a sideline granny.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with the service immediately following, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio. Pastor Steve Harrop officiating. Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery, Sewellsville, Ohio.
The family extends a special thank you to Genesis and Riverside Hospital for the love and care shown to Naomia and her family and a very special thank you to Jim and Sue Patron for the kindness they have shown.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations may be made to the family to assist with the funeral expenses.
