MARTHA L. WADE
Peacefully in the morning of September 25, 2021, Martha Wade, 94, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away. She was born January 19, 1927 in Bethesda, Ohio, to the late Everett and Alice (Nabb) Turner.
Together with her parents, Martha will be greeted by her husband of 71 years, Charles “Don” Wade and sisters, Dorothy West, Ester Fogle, and Shirley Jozwiak.
A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, her family was her greatest blessing and she enjoyed time spent together. She was an immaculate housekeeper, enjoyed baking for family and friends and did everything with lots of love. She was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church of Bethesda.
Martha’s memory will forever be treasured by those who survive; daughters, Mary (Monte) Phillips of Barnesville, Connie (Rick) Milburn of Bethesda; son, Robert (Cindy) Wade of St. Clairsville; grandchildren, Lori Rockwell, Kevin Phillips, Tricia DeWitt, Matt Milburn, Ryan Milburn, Travis Wade, and Mandy Schwieterman; great-grandchildren, Brady, Emily, and Katey Rockwell, Jackson and Claire Phillips, Lilly, Annabelle, Emmie, and Jack DeWitt, Dalton, Riley, and Zane Milburn, Hudson and Haisley Milburn, Ella and June Wade, Regan Schwieterman; and sister, Susan Witsberger of Bethesda.
Family and friends are invited for visitation, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 from 11:00 am until the time of service, beginning at 1:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda.
The family requests, for the safety of everyone in attendance, masks and facial coverings are to be worn upon entering the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests Memorial Contributions may be made to: Hospice of Guernsey, Barnesville Hospital, or Emerald Pointe.
