Louie Michelli Obituary

LOUIE J. MICHELLI

Louie J. Michelli, 76, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away September 8, 2021.  Born November 11, 1944 in Flushing, Ohio, he was the son of the late Louie and Effie Michelli.  Also preceding him in death was his daughter, Lori Ann Parrish and brother, Glen Gilmore.

Louie leaves a trail of wonderful memories to those who survive; his wife of 27 years, Vicki Michelli of Bethesda; daughter, Rebecca Beaver of Bethesda; grandchildren, Austin and Alex Beaver of Bethesda and C.J. & Jacob Parrish of Rayland; brothers, Tom (Diane) Michelli of Flushing and John (Jean) Michelli of Pennsylvania; and many nieces and nephews.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Louie was a teacher at Belmont Tech, where he led by example, teaching, inspiring, and encouraging each and every one of his students. A proud US Marine, Louie served during the Vietnam era from 1963 to 1967, unselfishly sharing with this country, a gift beyond measure, our freedom. “Once a Marine, always a Marine.”  Semper Fi.
