Obituary

LOGAN MICHEAL CASTELLO

Logan Micheal Castello, 21, formerly of Barnesville and most recently of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away November 20, 2019 while stationed in Killeen, Texas, serving in the United States Army.  He was born in Wheeling, West Virginia, January 18, 1998, to Kenneth Castello and Patricia Troyan.

Preceding Logan in death was his maternal grandfather, Carl Minear and paternal grandfather, Gary Castello.

Forever and always, Logan’s memory will live on in the lives of those who survive; his wife, Kayla Castello (Kerner) of Barnesville; father, Kenneth Castello of Barnesville; mother, Patricia Troyan of St. Clairsville; brothers, Caleb Hollida of Quaker City and Dmitri Troyan of St. Clairsville; maternal grandmother, Delores “Gaga” Minear; paternal grandmother, Mickey “Red Grandma” Stavely; many friends; and his loyal companions, his dog, Ham and cat, Alex.

Logan radiated an infectious smile and his laugh felt like sunshine to everyone that was around him.  He was everyone’s best friend and enjoyed bringing people together. Among Logan’s many friends, he and Kayla shared a very caring and warm-hearted friendship in high school. He was a graduate of Barnesville High School and a record breaking Rocks football player. He was an avid Ohio State and Cleveland Browns fan. Logan had a very special love for music, as it is something everyone is touched by, it never judges, always heals, giving happiness and flight to the imagination.
