KEVIN E. DOTY

Kevin E. Doty, 53, of Batesville, Ohio, passed away at his home, August 5, 2021.  He was born in Chico, California on November 30, 1967 to the late Charles “Sonny” and Yvonne “Kay” (Henman) Doty.  Also preceding Kevin in death was his sister, Sheila Howell.

He was a self-employed carpenter, enjoying the outdoors, fishing, and playing his guitar.  Together with his family, they have and continue sharing their talents as  instrumental blue grass players.  A doting and warm-hearted family man, Kevin enjoyed time spent with those he loved.

Celebrating all the wonderful memories of Kevin, are those who survive; his companion with whom he has spent 12 years, Tammy House of Batesville; sons, David Doty of Bridgeport,  Jason (Emily) Doty of Barnesville, Austin (Paula) Doty of Montana; two step-children, Brad (Candace) House of Carlisle, Alicia (Craig) Carpenter of Graysville; seven grandchildren; 11 step-grandchildren, brothers, Doug (Kim) Smith of Barnesville, Danny Doty of Newark, and many, many, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation for family and friends will be Monday, August 9, 2021 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, where the service for Kevin will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00 am.  Pastor Rodney West will be officiating.  Interment will follow at Batesville Cemetery, Batesville, Ohio.
