Judith Vogt Obituary

JUDITH A. VOGT

Our treasured mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Judith Vogt, died in faith, December 4, 2020. Born August 21, 1936 in Bellaire, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Wenzel and Mary (Heslop) Duvall.

A longtime resident of Shadyside, Judith was a member Shadyside Nazarene Church and worked as a transcriptionist for EORH.  Her smile was the light telling others she was truly a caring person, who listened completely and attentively to those whose lives she touched.

Judith lives on in the hearts of the loving family she leaves behind; her children, Terri (Ron) Pocza of Morristown, James (Cathy) Dorff of West Chester, Ohio; grandchildren, Roy (Barbara) Smith, Jenna Smith, Zachary (Ashley) Dorff, Sam Dorff; great-grandchildren, Shayla (Kris Lee) Smith, Deedra (Connor Hawk) Smith, Blake Stover, Owen Dorff; and a great-great-grandchild that will arrive in June.

At Judith’s request, a Graveside Service will be held at Powhatan Cemetery, 3883 OH-7, Powhatan Point, Ohio on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 10:00 am.  Dennis Hancock will officiate.
