JOHN CHARLES WHITELEY
John Charles Whiteley, of Quaker City, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, October 25, 2021, at the age of 60. He was born December 23, 1960 to Harriett (Neuhart) Whiteley and the late Charles Whiteley.
John was a lifelong farmer and longtime hauler of livestock. Many lives were touched by this gentle, soft-spoken man.
Cherishing John’s memory are those who survive; his significant other and soul mate, Jackie Dingey; stepsons, Austin and Matthew Dooley; mother, Harriett Whiteley; sister, Jean (Brian) Roe; brother, Jim Whiteley; niece, Kate (Justin) Addington; nephew, Kam (Bre) Roe; many great friends, especially Joby Shipe; and his fur daughters, Allis and Bandit. John is also survived by Jackie’s family, Mary Dingey, Becky (Bruce) Thompson, Allen (Jane) Dingey, and Kenny (Kim) Dingey.
Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, with the service immediately following, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville. Pastor Clayton Coffey will officiate. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery, Quaker City.
