JESS LEROY BAKER
Jess Leroy Baker, 84, of Barnesville, has joined his wife; Beverly Lou Mayberry Baker, as together they walk hand in hand, heart to heart, together once more.
Born in Barnesville, Ohio on June 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Paron and Estella Christman Baker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Harold Baker and an infant sister.
Jess’ memory will leave an indelible imprint on the hearts of those he leaves behind; daughter, Mistie (Buddy) Bussa of Barnesville; grandchildren, Lewis (Shawna) Bussa and Jessica Pumphrey; great-granddaughter, Makayla Bussa.
Those who knew Jess, knew he had a special passion for his Chevy Big 10 truck, “Old Yeller”. He had an impressive collection of Wheel Horse Tractors and over 400 wind chimes. He loved the outdoors, camping, square dancing, and gardening. Fascinated with hummingbirds, he enjoyed watching these tiny, brilliant colored creatures. He was known for his Christmas decorations, truly making the holiday magical. He loved his family and was never happier than when he was spending time with them and treasured moments with his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2020 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-9:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E.
