JAMES L. STARR

James L. Starr, 91, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away at Wheeling Hospital, December 4, 2020.  Born January 11, 1929, he was the son of the late Clarence Starr and Helen Trott Starr.

Preceding James in death was his wife, Mary Starr and sister, Gloria McConnhay.

A Korean War veteran, James served his country in the United States Army.  He enjoyed the outdoors, farming, hunting, and gardening.  He loved his grandchildren and enjoyed time spent with them.  Cars were near and dear to his heart.

Carrying James’ memory with them always, are those who survive; sons, Paul (Shirley) Starr and Bill Starr all of Barnesville; grandchildren, Jarod and Jamie; and great-grandson, Lander Temple.

It was James’ final wish for there to be no visitation or service and for interment to be held at the convenience of his family.

James’ care and serving his family was entrusted to Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Barnesville.
