JAMES J. PERKINS II

James J. Perkins II, 53, of Uniontown, Ohio passed away at his home, December 7, 2019.  Born January 8, 1966 in Plymouth, Indiana, he was the son of Cheryl Ice Perkins and the late James J. Perkins, Sr.  In addition to his father, he was preceded in death in 2016 by his son, James J. Perkins III.

James' memory will live on in the hearts of those who survive; his mother, Cheryl Perkins of Lafferty; son, Daulton Perkins of Uniontown; granddaughters, whom filled his days with joy, Julieann, Marrisa, and Haley; brothers, Carl Perkins of Morristown, Michael (Heather) Perkins of Bethesda, Thomas (Megan) Perkins of Belmont, Donald (Jennifer) Perkins of St. Clairsville, Kenneth (Jennifer) Perkins of Lafferty; special friend, Joe Whitacre; lifelong friend, Molly Perkins; and his loyal friend and dog, Baby.

A great bowler, he loved the state of West Virginia and enjoyed camping, fishing, riding his motorcycle, and listening to Blue Grass music.  He loved to cook turtle soup.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, December 12, 2019 from 11:00, until the time of service, beginning at 2:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda.  Pastor Joe Thornton will be officiating..  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown.
