JACK V. GRAY
Jack V. Gray, 84, of Barnesville, Ohio, passed away at Astoria Place on February 14, 2022. He was born in Barnesville on September 4, 1937, to parents, Clyde and Mary (Thompson) Gray, who preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brothers, John and Fred Gray and sisters, Hazel Anderson, Edna Fowler, and Jenny Goodhart.
A welder by trade, he worked for and retired from Marietta Coal. He was a fan of motor racing at Midvale Speedway, enjoyed John Deere tractors, and going out to eat. His all-time favorite actor was John Wayne.
Jack leaves a lasting impression to those who survive; his daughters, Janice (Jeff) Thatcher and Janene (Gray) Kim all of Barnesville; son, Kevin (Judy) Gray of Columbus, grandchildren, Matthew, Dustin, Mike, Nik, Barry, Blake, and Brady; great-granddaughters, Maddie, Kinsley, Brynlee; great-grandson, Kavin; and his 16-year-old special cat, Tomcat.
Family and friends are kindly invited for visitation, Thursday, February 17, 2022, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, where the service for Jack will immediately follow. Interment will take place at Holly Memorial Gardens.
