Helen Dean (Masters) Kemp

Helen Dean Kemp was born October 21,1932 and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 10, 2022, was born to Elzie G. and Gertrude Moore Masters in Belmont Ohio.  Helen is a graduate of Belmont High School.  She received her Bachelor of Science degree in education.  She did post graduate work at Kent State University.  She retired from St. Clairsville Richland Schools District where she taught elementary education.   

Helen had been active in various organizations throughout her life but what she loved the most was sharing her faith in Jesus Christ which was evident to anyone who knew her.  She was a member of Chestnut Level Christian Church, where she taught Sunday school and served as Treasurer.  

Helen was preceded in death by her husband Manley Kemp, her parents Elzie and Gertrude Masters and her sister Ruth Porter.  Helen is survived by her family: Judy Denning (Richard), Harold Kemp (Diana), Howard Kemp (Beth), Jane Greening (Shaun).  Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.  Nieces Maria & Cristina Porter, nephew Michael Porter (Arlene).   

According to family wishes private services will be held at the convenience of the family and interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home Bethesda Chapel, 322 North Main St. Bethesda, Ohio is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the St. Clairsville Council of Churches food pantry, PO Box 563, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
