DONNA M. HAGEDORN

The world lost a beloved wife and mother, Donna M. Hagedorn on November 9, 2021.  Donna was born in Hamilton, Ohio on August 25, 1931 to the late Helen and Lindley Bailey. 

She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Art Hagedorn; children, William R. Hagedorn (Diann), Charles A. Hagedorn (Robin), and Susan M. Baker (Dan); seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.  Proceeded in death by her parents; father-in-life, Harold Schafer; and siblings, Edwin Schafer, Carrolee Bauer, Beverly Lynch, Marvin Schafer, and Linda Jones.

Donna accomplished many things in her 90 years. She soloed a Cessna 250 in 1966, at Port Columbus, while her very proud husband watched. She was a Welcome Wagon Lady in Albion, MI and worked for 15 years at Pickerington Middle School, as the chief cook. In retirement, Donna enjoyed living in Florida, traveling, and camping with Art.  Donna was a devoted Christian and will always be remembered as kind and loving, greeting everyone with a smile. She will be greatly missed by her family.

A private graveside service was held at Crestview Cemetery in Barnesville, Ohio.
