DESSIE LUELLA ROBY

Dessie Luella Roby, who celebrated her 100th February 19th of this year, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2020 at her home.  She was born in Jacobsburg, Ohio to the late Lewis Ramsey and Hattie Brown Ramsey.

Preceding Dessie in death was her husband, Robert Roby; daughter, Sally Bizzarri; sisters, Geneva Kocher and Hilda Thompson; brother, Wallace Ramsey.

She is survived by those who will treasure her memory always; grandson, Jeff (Tammy) Bizzarri; great-granddaughter, Abby Bizzarri; sister, Wanda Stewart; and several nieces and nephews.

With the passage of time, comes change and Dessie experienced many, many changes over her 100 years of gracing this earth.  But with all the many changes, she enjoyed the simple things in life and the subtle magic this gave her.  She loved her family and was grateful for each day.  She was an active member of the Bethesda Senior Center and looked forward to the warm and cheerful welcome she always received.

Visitation for Dessie will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, Bethesda.  A private family interment will take place at the convenience of her family.
