CLAYTON J. TEMPLE
Softly in the morning of August 28, 2021, Clayton J. Temple, heard a gentle call and took the hand God offered him and quietly left us all. He now joins his infant child, Gabriel and grandmother, Edith Ball.
Born June 18, 1986 in Wheeling, West Virginia, Clayton was the son of Harlen and Lorrie (Ball) Temple and one of four children bringing joy to the Temple family.
An extraordinary man who lived an extraordinary life, he was very much a family man and enjoyed being close to those he loved. He loved to build, hunt, and fish. The most touching thing about Clayton was he never met a stranger and truly loved everyone in the world. He always saw the good in everyone. Having very strong faith, he never complained, even through difficult times, he remained strong and courageous, knowing that God was with him always.
Cherishing Clayton’s memory always are those who survive; his wife of 10 years, Alyssa Temple; daughters, Zoey and Lily Temple; son, Sawyer Temple; parents, Harlen and Lorrie Temple; sister, Kenzie (Andrew) White; brothers, Kyle (Kaitlyn) Temple, Cody (Brooke) Temple; beloved in-laws, Daniel and Kimberly Merritt and Elaine Cameron; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited for visitation, Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM and Friday, September 3, 2021 from 10:00 AM until the service time, beginning at 11:00 AM, Harbor of Hope Assembly of God, 67667 Warnock Street, St. Clairsville.
