Channing Emory Obituary

CHANNING L. EMORY

Channing L. Emory, 69, of Bethesda, Ohio, passed away Monday, September 28, 2020.  Born in Wheeling, West Virginia on October 27, 1951, he was the son of the Arlos and Betty Montgomery Emory.

In addition to his parents, Channing was preceded in death by his brother, Larry Fader and sister, Josephine Bowers.

Channing’s memory, a timeless treasure, will live on in the hearts of those who survive; his wife of 23 years, Sandra Emory of Bethesda; sons, Nathan Emory and Christopher (Katinia) Emory all of Bethesda, step-son, Robert (Chibra) Piller of California; grandchildren, Makenna and Morganne, Wyatt and Bella; and sister, Ayesha (Sabry) Abdeen of Arizona.

Channing enjoyed electronics, traveling, and was a heavy equipment operator.  A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Channing was the strong hand of support and love to his family.  Everyone who saw him with his family could see the love that reflected in his eyes when they were together.

Finding joy in the sorrow, a Celebration of Life will take place at 10:30 am on Sunday, October 11, 2020, at Bethesda Church of the Nazarene.  Pastors Guy and Cheryl Norris will officiate.
