CAROL S. OILER

Carol S. Oiler, 70, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on June 25, 2021.  Born in Columbus, Ohio August 3, 1950 she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Martha (Edwards) McFarland.  Also preceding Carol in death was her brother, Phil McFarland.

Carol’s memory will always be treasured by those who survive; daughter, Michelle Metcalf of Melbourne, Florida; grandchildren, Jeremy Rogers and Jason Metcalf; great-grandchild, Rowyn Metcalf; sisters, Patricia (Peter) Evans, Peggy (Matt) Schmidt; brother, Mike McFarland; numerous nieces and nephews.

She worked waitressing for most of her life and enjoyed the comradery she shared with those she served.  She loved her family and her grandchildren were the sunshine of her soul.

Carol will always be remembered for her genuine kindness.

In honoring Carol’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.  Interment will take place privately.  A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, July 5, 2021 at 3:00 pm, Grange Hall, 980 Shamrock Drive,  Barnesville, Ohio.
