Betty Lee Obituary

BETTY IRENE LEE Betty Irene Lee, 90, of Bethesda, Ohio, is together again with her husband, Glenn, as they now share their eternal life. Born in Bethesda, Ohio on June 3. 1930, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. Bailey and Freda Shepherd Bailey. Also preceding Betty in death was her sister, Barbara Logston and brother, Donald Bailey. Cherishing Betty’s memory always, are those who survive; children, William (Nancy) Lee of Marietta, Nancy (David) Detling of Barnesville, David Lee of Bethesda, John (Jerrilyn) Lee of Jacobsburg, and Beth Ann (Mark) Welch of North Carolina; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Betty was a woman whose faith was a precious gift and shared with everyone who she came in contact with. Her pleasant ways and smile would light up a room. No matter what was taking place in her life, she always took the time to give you a hug and be sure to ask how you were. A 60 year member of the Eastern Star, a 55 year member of The Oakleigh Garden Club, and member of the United Methodist Women’s Club, Betty treasured the fellowship shared with her friends. Family and friends will be welcome for visitation, Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, from 11:00 am, until the time of service, which will begin at 1:00 pm. Betty’s nephew, Pastor Jim Lee, will be officiating. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda. The family requests masks are worn and social distancing be observed.
