PATRICIA ELLEN HICKENBOTTOM

Patricia Ellen Hickenbottom, 89, of Bethesda and formerly of Morristown, Ohio, passed away November 18, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born June 11, 1930 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Freda and Harold “Bud” Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edmund Hickenbottom; sister, Marlene VanFossen; brother, Harold Harris; and great-granddaughter, Olivia Goodson.

Patricia loved to spend time with her family, who lovingly called her “Granny.”  She enjoyed going to Bingo at St. Mary’s and worked for many years in her parents’ nursing home, which was in Morristown.  She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her daughters, Barbara (Isaac) Goodson, Bonnie (Rich) Wetmore; son, Mark (Becky) Hickenbottom; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Family and friends will be received for visitation at Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 11:00 am, until the time of service, beginning at 1:00 pm.  Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating.  Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Morristown.
