KYLE J. GATTEN

Kyle J. Gatten, 27, of Belmont, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly, May 5, 2019.  He was born to John Gatten, Jr. and Lisa Holstein Gatten March 13, 1992 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Preceding Kyle in death was his maternal grandmother, Patricia Straight.

Kyle’s memory will forever be cherished by those who survive; father, John Gatten, Jr. of Belmont; mother, Lisa Gatten of Bethesda; significant other, Brianna Crawford of Smithfield; son, Knox Gatten; sister, Kala Gatten of Belmont; brother, Alex Gatten of Bethesda; paternal grandfather, John Gatten, Sr.; and special uncle and aunt, Darrin and Anita Straight of Belmont.

Kyle loved music and playing the guitar, as it was a form of self-expression.  He enjoyed weight lifting, dirt bike riding, and spending time with family and friends. Kyle’s son, Knox, was the light of his life and filled his heart with over flowing love.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation, Tuesday, May 7, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda, where the service for Kyle will take place on Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, Ohio. 

In preparing for Knox’s future, a scholarship fund has been set up and Memorial Contributions may be made to the scholarship fund through any Unified Bank location.
