HOWARD E. PERKINS
On May 24, 2019, Howard E. Perkins, 78, of Beallsville, with his family by his side, was welcomed into his eternal home. He was born November 18, 1940 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of the late John Virgil Perkins and Wilma Mae Walter Perkins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Ryan Perkins.
Howard’s warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be remembered forever by those who survive; his wife of 54 years, Marilyn Perkins; daughters, Shellie (John) Pizzoferrato of Columbus, Kim (Buzz) Evans of Beallsville; son, Jay Perkins of Beallsville; grandchildren, Lindsay, Ryan, Matthew, Chandler, and Harley; sister, Shirlie (Doug) Haavik of California; and brother, Reuben (Betty) Perkins of St. Clairsville.
A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, his passion was farming and he especially loved his cows; as they are amongst the most loveable and gentlest creatures on earth. Howard enjoyed walking and hunting, especially deer. A hard working man his entire life, he knew this was a God given blessing to support his family, fulfill his dreams, and a way to leave the gift of his legacy. He was helpful to others, always, in a kind and compassionate way.
