HILDA WALTERS KRUG

Hilda Walters Krug age 85, passed away peacefully, December 27, 2019 in Barnesville, Ohio.  She was born August 18, 1934 in Beallsville, Ohio to Emory and Lena Walters.  She married Anthony Krug, who preceded her in death in 2000 and met her in heaven at the eastern gate on the day of her passing.

For many years, Hilda worked as a nurse at LTV Steel and Southwest General Hospital.  She was an active and proud member of Southwest Christian Church.  As many know, Hilda was a bright and loving spirit who always had a smile on her face! 

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Contos and brothers, Dale and Don Walters.

Hilda is survived by her sister, Joan Walters Sedlack; her four children, Kristi Krug, Kathy Krug Petrow, Kenneth Krug, and Kevin Krug; five grandchildren, Johnny Petrow, Jessica Krug Funk, Michael Krug, Audrey Krug, and Alyssa Krug; and one great-grandchild, Sadie Funk. 

Hilda’s family will welcome guests for visitation, Thursday, January 2, 2019 from 11:00 am until the time of service, beginning at noon, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 702 E. Main Street, Barnesville, Ohio.  Minister Wayne Clark will be officiating.  Burial immediately following at Jerusalem Cemetery, Jerusalem, Ohio.
