ELLEN MAE CECIL

Ellen Mae Cecil, 82, passed away June 10, 2019, at her home in Belmont, Ohio.  Born October 22, 1936 in Belmont, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Russell Lynn and Effie Gregg Lynn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Buzzy” Cecil; brother, Jack Lynn; and sister, Sandra Wilson.

Ellen will be sadly missed and loving remembered by those who survive; sons, Brad, Randy, and Kevin Cecil all of Belmont; daughter, Vickie (Donald) Rogers of Cadiz; grandchildren, D. Craig Rogers and Katelyn (Ryan) Coffman all of Cadiz, Christopher (Lisl) Rogers of Arizona; great-grandchildren, Derrick Rogers, Drexan and Conner Coffman, Caden, Addison, and Colten Rogers; and brother, Clyde Lynn of Belmont.

A member of Morristown Christian Church, she was retired from Kaufmann’s Department Store in St. Clairsville.  She loved to cook and bake and enjoyed making everyone’s favorite dishes, and did so lovingly.  Ellen was a loving and faithful wife, mother, and grandmother; cherishing her family and faith.

Guests will be welcome for visitation, Friday, June 14, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm, Patron Funeral Homes & Crematory Kelly Kemp Braido, 322 N. Main Street, Bethesda and at Morristown Christian Church, 201 Church Street, Morristown, Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 10:00 am, until the time of service, beginning at 11:00 am. Pastor Curtis Hallstrom will officiate.  Interment will take place at 11:00 am, Monday, June 17, 2019 at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain.
